A Tale of Two Indias
There are two sides to India; the educated side that lives in the city, and the uneducated side that still lives in the country. The caste system is a system of social classes. you can be poor or you can be rich. I think if you are born poor you will stay poor unless you get a good education; and if you are born rich you will stay rich unless you make a wrong turn in life.
They are different, because China is more advanced than India. India and China were both run by controlling governments.

"CANCER STICKS"
The event or issue that inspire the picture is that cigarettes causes cancer deaths. The people or objects in the picture are a camel skeleton and "Cancer Stick" scene from camel cigarettes. The specific artistic techniques used in this picture are symbolism, exaggeration, and labeling. Three things that I might infer from this picture is that smoking leads to death, cancer, and something else bad. I think the message of this picture is smoking cigarettes cancer, and then eventually leads to death. Nonsmokers would agree with the picture and it's message, but on the other hand, some people who do smoke wouldn't agree with the picture and it's message. The artist's point of view about the topic portrayed in the picture is that they are against cigarette smoking, because it leads to death and cancer. This picture is persuasive, because now that I see what could happen if I smoke, it makes me think why do I want to do that to my body.
GENETIC MODIFIED ORGANISM
The genetic modification of food would effect the food in different ways. For example, a lemon will grow hair. there is a lemon with hair in it is in this picture. The artistic techniques used in this picture are symbolism, analogy, exaggeration, labeling, and irony. I might infer that the genetic modified organism can effect the foods (fruits and veges) are grown. If you put chemicals in your food, then you might do crazy things and other stupid stuff. The company that puts the chemicals in the food would disagree, and people who are concerned about there health would agree with the picture. I think the artist is against put chemicals in foods (fruits and veges). I say this, because i they were not against it, then they would not have created it. I think this picture is persuasive to me, because now that i see what might happen to foods if you put chemicals in them, that really makes me not want types of chemicals in my foods.
Dead Animal Meal
The issue inspired in this picture is that when we eat meat, we are killing animals. The objects in this picture are DEAD animals. The specific artistic techniques in this picture are symbolism, labeling, and irony. I might infer that eating meats are ANIMAL CRUELTY. The message of this picture is that people should eat vegetable and spare animals lives by not eating them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. People who make the foods and kill the animals would disagree to the picture, and vegans and people who actually care for the animals might agree with picture and protest even more. The artists point of view is that they disagree to the picture. It is persuasive to me, because I love animals.

“ That when we reject the single story, when we realize that there is never a single story about any place,we regain a kind of paradise.”
Reading this quote made me realize that there is not just one story about a place, and there are a lot of stereotypes for that place.
